The purpose of the Valeo Foundation is to:

• Be a good steward in our community and world.
• Prove through actions, not just words, that Valeo and its employees are committed to improving the lives of others.
• Promote and encourage the philanthropic giving of Valeo employees and clients.

Time spent giving back

When Valeo was founded, we knew giving back would be an important part of our culture. To that end, Valeo established the Valeo Foundation, Inc. (an independent 501(c)(3) charitable foundation) and a donor advised fund with the Central Indiana Community Foundation (CICF).

Being active in the community is an important cornerstone to the Valeo culture. Valeo advisors support charitable organizations through donations of time and financial commitments. See our About Us page for some of the charitable interests our advisors support.

Lending our talent where we can

The mission of the Valeo Foundation is simple: to improve the lives of others at the local, regional, national, and international level by aiding basic human needs, healthcare, education and cultural development.

Gifts of treasure

Funding comes primarily from our emerging clients who typically have high incomes but limited net worth and investable assets. They pay a one-time fee to go through our initial planning process, and donate at least $500 each year to our charitable fund until their situation grows or becomes more complex, at which point they transition to our traditional model.

Donations allow Valeo employees to annually make $500 of discretionary gifts and $500 of matching gifts.
